West Elm Torres Wool Kilim Knock Off

Howdy Friends!

How are you doing? How are things? I’ve been busy. I’ve been frantically trying to pull together our “game room.” I really needed a rug for the “game room,” but I practically had no budget for a new rug. But I did have an already heavily stained Jute woven rug that I picked up Black Friday from Rugs USA. And I could afford a cup of Sharpies.

So I ordered Sharpie Pink Ribbon Permanent Marker 174164 Fine Point (36 Count Canister)
. While awaiting their delivery, I grabbed a pencil and a stainless steel ruler and starting sketching out a pattern as close to what I saw in this shot of the West Elm Torres Wool Kilim.

Once the Sharpies arrived, I started filling in the lines. I improvised, and wasn’t worried about scale. But for $13, I freaking love it!

What do you think?! It’s so fun and geometric, and less than $140! Don’t forget to share this project with your friends!

Thank you Alexis! I’d estimate 5-6 hours. I worked on it in little bits, maybe an hour a night for 5 or 6 nights total. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by!
